To protect the patrons’ right to enjoy themselves and to provide a safe environment.

To protect the commercial rights of the venue, its promoter/hirer or contracted partners.

Policy

Test Match/Domestic Conditions of Entry

The expectation for Test matches and Domestic games at Seddon Park is that it will not be at full patron capacity. Restrictions on certain items like deck chairs, chilly bins and sun umbrellas are relaxed.

Items that ARE NOT permitted into the venue:

  • Animals, (with exception of Seeing Eye Dogs)
  • Air horns or loud hailers
  • Weapons, fireworks missiles or other items considered dangerous
  • Gang regalia
  • Party pills or illicit drugs
  • Signs or banners that are obscene, offensive or abusive (Subject to management discretion)
  • Commercial cameras
  • Commercial recording devices
  • Dangerous goods (Subject to management discretion)
  • Patrons may be REFUSED ENTRY into Seddon Park or be evicted if they:

  • Appear intoxicated/under the influence of drugs or exhibit disorderly behaviour
  • Deny permission for the inspection of themselves, bags or other items in their possession
  • Attempt to bring in prohibited items
  • Enter onto the playing arena before, during and after the game without invitation.
  • Have previously been issued with a trespass notice that still applies
  • Engages in conduct which unreasonably interferes with the playing surface, players, spectators or members of staff employed or volunteering at this event
  • Appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or exhibit disorderly behaviour
  • Are found to be gambling
  • Indecent exposure
  • Hawking of unauthorised merchandise or solicitation
  • Scalping of tickets
  • Ambush marketing (A marketing campaign that takes place around an event but does not involve payment of a sponsorship fee to the event)
  • To be found with prohibited items on the premises
  • Unauthorised commercial recording, photography or videoing
  • Having purchased alcohol as a minor or have been found to supply alcohol to minors
  • Food and Beverage items that ARE allowed into the venue:

  • Any unopened non-alcoholic plastic beverage bottle of 1 litre or less will be allowed into Seddon Park for all matches ( domestic and international)
    • Non commercial food for personal consumption such as sandwiches, fruit, biscuits and cakes, provided it is not in commercial packaging or wrappers.

    Food and Beverage items that ARE NOT permitted into the venue

  • Alcohol not purchased at the venue
  • Drinking containers larger than 1 litre
  • Glass bottles
  • Commercially produced takeaway food such as McDonald's, KFC, Subway, Pizza, etc.
  • Items that ARE permitted into the venue:

  • Empty plastic water bottles (up to 1 litre in size) to be filled using water provided by the venue
  • Deck chairs
  • Chilly bins
  • Sun umbrellas
  • Pushchairs
  • Other:

  • Stadium Management or their representative's reserve the right to conduct search and inspection of any garments worn or articles carried.
  • Seddon Park is Smoke free in all internal spaces as well as within the seated bowl arena. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
  • Management will take no responsibility for goods surrendered
  • Should the designated event be classified as a ‘Major Event’ under the legislative ‘Major Events Management Act’ then these specific rules to conditions of entry shall apply.

  • WARNING

    Failure to comply with a direction from Event Facilities staff, Police or the Stadiums contracted security providers to leave the event and/or venue may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000.00 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.

    One Day/Twenty20 International Conditions of Entry
